Rum Village parking after the Visitor Center. We handle jeep transfers from there.

Start times

Winter: around 9:00 AM. Summer: around 10:00 AM. Sunset finishes available on request.

Payment

Cash (JOD) on departure is standard. No ATMs in Rum Village; withdraw in Aqaba, Petra or Amman.

Cancellation

Free cancellation. Please inform us early so we can reorganize guides and rebook slots.

Accessibility and families

Traveling with kids or special needs

Children are welcome. We keep groups small and adapt distances and pacing. Baby backpacks are recommended over strollers.

Tell us about mobility or dietary needs in advance. We tailor routes and meals wherever possible.

Safety

Desert aware, guide led

  • Follow your guide on arches and ridges; avoid edges.
  • Watch footing on sand and sandstone; stay hydrated.
  • Nearest hospital is in Aqaba (about 60 km).
